So you think that driving at 62 in a 30 because it was dark, don't know the road, drIver bit confused is mitigation for what in the eyes of the law is an accident waiting to happen? Has it occured to you that perhaps your mother was at fault?Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostThat's how my mother described it.What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Indeed. Best thing all round is for her to sit her driving test again.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostSo you think that driving at 62 in a 30 because it was dark, don't know the road, drIver bit confused is mitigation for what in the eyes of the law is an accident waiting to happen? I did not say that. Getting banned for 56 days for a first offence seems excessive to me. Average for that speed seem to be a few day's ban. Has it occurred to you that what occurs to you has already been though of and dismissed with nanoseconds by someone with more intelligence?Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostSo you think that driving at 62 in a 30 because it was dark, don't know the road, drIver bit confused is mitigation for what in the eyes of the law is an accident waiting to happen?
