They also made it 56 days which is the cut-off period for having to reapply for a driving licence. They had their knives out it seems.

They said to be there for 10am, and be 30 minutes early, (i.e. 09:30) as were, it transpired, another 20 people, so we endured rush hour Birmingham motorway traffic to get there for 9 am, hoping for an early session. Then waited, and waited and waited... At 2:30pm they asked all those up for driving offences whether they wanted to come back another day as they were busy doing prisoners, who come first. No one volunteered. My mother was flagging by lunchtime, seriously knackered by 4pm when finally her case was heard and then we had rush hour traffic on the way back. Pretty shameful stuff. Everything seemed amateurish, or perhaps they acted convincingly like amateurs, which included making mistakes and not knowing anything.

      Hanging's too good for her.

Insurance for her will be a nightmare after that, and no time limit as it asks "have you EVER been banned from driving".

I expect her little car will cost £3K to insure.

Still more room on the road for me so not all bad.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the first time she's sped in her life too. Inveterate speeders know where the cameras are.

Probably safer than doddery old ladies though.

Can you please refrain from insulting old women?

Anyway, who knows what the A435 Alcester road heading south looks like at 2:30 am?
