Given that I have 3 littluns and one luttlun on the way (Due 25th Dec) it made me think.

What if the Tottenham riots started up again? What if the occupy movement joins forces with the freeloaders? The EDL get involved?

You could move somewhere nicer.

Here in Pondlife Fach the EDL don't have much of a presence.

Without going proper nutty, should I be stockpiling certain kiddie important supplies just in case the local supermarket shuts down after getting looted?

How close are you to the actual kids? In a post apocalyptic world you may need to cast them aside to secure your safety, only the strong will survive!

Calpol and Calprofen are brand names. Non branded alternatives are available free from your Doctor.

That relies on you getting an appointment to see the doctor

Poundland and 99p stores sell them, so if you really want to stock up, that's normally the best place to do it.

What are all these things? When I was a kid I got Benylin, Lemsip () and maybe an aspirin. But hot honey & lemon for a cold, and butter with brown sugar for a cough were more common.

i've read some daft things in my time but this is right up there.
What about the expiry dates ?
Depending on the age/size of the child they can take half a normal paracetamlol if feeling unwell.

How often are they kds sick ? Mine very rarely have either calpol/6+/<insert whatever name it is over the counter>

The medicine you've mentioned doesn't cure anything serious, it just takes the aches away, but so does laughter, rest etc..

Don't be daft and start stocking up just in case. If you do start stocking up then you might have to surrender your office to be a garage again.
