Now I realised I said that twice but I thought it was such a big draw back it was worth mentioning twice.

An American friend asked my wife what "Smeg" means, and she told him it's short for smegma, and that he should look it up in the dictionary. Which he did... he went bright red.

I have a medium sized fire axe buried in my spinal column. That kind of thing can really put a crimp on your day.

Rimmer: Erm, I think we're losing sight of the real issue here, which is: what are we gonna call ourselves? Erm, and I think it comes down to a choice between "The League Against Salivating Monsters" or my own personal preference, which is "The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society." Erm, one drawback with that: the abbreviation is "CLITORIS."

Rimmer: The time for talking is over. Now call it extreme if you like, but I propose we hit it hard and we hit it fast, with a major, and I mean major, leaflet campaign.

            Just saying like.

I could agree with you, but then we would both be wrong!

Well, the cast should certainly be putting the effort in, it's not like any of them have notable careers. I quite like Scrapheap Challenge but he's an embarrassment. And Brittas Empire I enjoyed.

That story is five and a half years old. He might be clean now.

Out of the original cast, Chris Barrie was an established comedy actor and had worked a lot on spitting image. He's now doing massive machines etc... on the cable channels.
Danny John Jules (cat) was perhaps the most misplaced as he had been a serious stage actor.

Hardly a big deal though. Although - since this series is Made For Dave it's not so big a deal either
