And aren't expensive city centre flats where the biggest prices reductions tend to occur, with Birmingham an infamous epicentre of said phenomenon?

      You couldn't make it up.
A 50% overpriced flat in the middle of Brum?

AtW thinks 50% is less than a half (seriously) so it could be funny to learn what his mortgage application is for.

I think it's priced to sell and I like the place to stay there for a few more years before I fully pay off mortgage and rent it out after moving to a nice mansion.

No non no, 10% is nearly a half. 50% must be more than double.

It's not in city center and it's not a tower block.

If they try to evict you just call them up with your best Russian Mafia accent and tell them your name is Boris

I would accept the argument if I could think of any capital gains in the last 4 years outside of London and nice parts of the South East.

Mind you I don't think SKA has been in a position to allow ATW to buy a flat much before now.

It is a screen scraper with a connection to a database. A 300 line function.

I am not surprised he is tulipting himself that he cannot afford a flat.
