All were in repsonse to attempted insults from those posters if you look at the thread. I can operate at either level - the proper argument and discussion or the insult.

As regards the moderators it was not aimed at you. Old Greg is the main culprit. Moderators should stop the pack mentality and encourage newcomers. He runs with, and eggs on, the pack and encourages attacks on newcomers. He, and his ilk, would be the main reason for the lack of newcomers on this Forum.

I think there are few newcomers to the forum as the industry (as some argue) is in its death throws.

Get rid of ICTs and this forum would double in size in a week. Blame Tony, Gordon, Dawn and Dave not a bunch of long in the tooth experienced contractors having an occasional wind up on a forum for contractors breaking out from the often dull roles they are often asked to do.
