Amazing how far things progressed in just a few years.

All these good/pretentious watches seem massive. The ones they force the F1 drivers to put on for press-conferences are the size of my hand, nearly. What's a slim-wristed gentleman to do?

Go shopping at a decent antique area (York is good as is Salter Mill in Bradford) and find an 1960's or so Omega.

Once cleaned it will be as good as anything in a jewellery shop at probably a third the price.

Or you could just buy this one (first cheap one I found on the bay)

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Erm, I bought it myself actually

I'd be perfectly able to buy a real one if I wanted but I'd rather gouge my own eyes out with a rusty spoon than part with that much cash for a watch. And I'd kill him if he spent that much on a watch for me.

                  I'd rather a holiday
