Mrs MF has just told me she reckons I'm too old to apply for it this year.Originally posted by fullyautomatix View PostYeah but bulltulip is now Alan Sugar made his money and he loves it when others try their hand at it.
I used to love doing pitches at retailers like Boots, Sainsbury's, Tescos.

They did very well. In two days they've gone from having no product to selling 1.6 million quids worth.Comment

I suspect the interview stage will see off that Melody. She's useless except for being able to speak French and being good TV as the baddy.
Market research? She f**ks it up. Sales pitch? That excruciating sales pitch was all her idea. Bulltulip in the boardroom? Worse than Jim, and without his charm (irony alert). Relationship with colleagues? Sh1t. Team-player? No.
Her CV sounds a load of old bollocks as well, and I reckon the interviewers will get to the bottom of that.Comment

That was Jim, not Tom.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostBit of a con pitch though.
"OK, right. So the brand is aimed at children. We'll do advertising campaigns all over the world, link it to Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Starman, Star Wars and Star Trek. William Shatner will be personally on hand with Harrison Ford at every Asda store in the UK for a year, I'll be your personal sex slave and we'll even agree to pay you £20 for every packet you sell"
Winner!
Bollocks.

Is the air a little thinner down where you are Poppins? I was talking about Jim, he was the one who did the pitch. Please explain where it says or infers Tom?Originally posted by MaryPoppins View PostThat was Jim, not Tom.

In your post, you quoted a post from Cojak saying 'Tom. Skin of his teeth'.
That was where you inferred you were referring to Tom.Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.
