      Given the nature of that procedure, couldn't it be more appropriately named 'etulipiotomy'?

        my first missus , gawd rest her soul, had one of those whilst I was in attendance. They used scissors and it sounded like a tailor cutting cloth

        Of course, I didnt make any friends amongst the nursing staff when I asked the surgeon if he could 'put a few extra stitches in'
