There isn't much to think out, there is no evidence for God, just as there is no evidence for Santa. Are there books and stories and are they part of our culture? Yes! Does than mean they exists? No.

Don't know about online. But as you might expect, the serious stuff is pretty deep and not light reading.

Only vaguely on topic but there's a good thing here on evolution, answers some of the "logical" objections by creationists:

Qualiasoup: Irreducible complexity cut down to size « The Skepticalist
Nobody here was advocating a creationist viewpoint... or at least not young-earth creationism. Although our reawakened pro-Christian troll may take this opportunity to jump in...

It was an interesting video, nicely objective, until the guy went off on one at the end.

Why are no ones prayers ever answered?
Oh be fair. God always answered peoples' prayers once, it says so in the Bible. Not sure why he has stopped doing it but he moves in mysterious ways you know.

Having a "virtual" motorbike and constantly bragging about it?

So designing something is equivalent to using it? The guy who invented the knife is the biggest mass murderer of all time then. Were not saying there would be no conflicts without religion just 90% less.

Religion is an impediment to acheiving sensible law in my view but this constantly repeated idea that religion is behind most of the world's problems is barking. We do have a problem with Islamic terrorism at the moment but in terms of numbers killed it is very small beer. Where did religion figure in any of the major wars or massacres in the last 150 years?

Even when religion is invoked, eg the NI combatants or the Hindu Nationalists in India, it is not so much their religious principles they are defending, rather their national culture and autonomy, of which the religion is only a part.

I don't think anyone claims this is the case (well OK I'm sure someone does). The two common claims, which are great for winding up atheists, are:
                    • In a random universe, right and wrong don't exist as absolutes
                    • Morality exists because it was created by God, whose existence isn't determined by your opinion on the matter

Atheists really don't like it when you tell them their ethics and morality are from God.

Apart from the fact your list is about the stupidest ever - do you base your knowledge of world religions purely on newspaper headlines? - what makes you think this one is true? It's a bit of a bold claim. In fact it's a stupid claim since millions of people will tell you their prayers have been answered. Pure random chance would mean at least some prayers get answered. If I prayed for you to get banned, there's a reasonable chance that prayer could be answered

What about Josef Fritzl daughter who was held slave for 24 years and was raped and beat up daily, she prayed daily for God to free her, but it was only by chance 24 years later that she escaped. Coincidence accounts for any prayer being answered.
