Is there anything more weak-minded and meaningless than having "faith"?

Any chance you could be just a little bit more offensive?"See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested." -
When you ask your mummy for things, why does she sometimes give you them and other times not? Seriously, is this the level of your arguments, this is Sunday School stuff.Originally posted by kandr View PostWell that leads to the question why are some prayers answered and others not.
I'd love to see the police stats supporting that 'fact'. This is why nightclubs are so full of Vicars? I think you just have a bit of an obsession. Why do I have a thing for rape? Its usually religious types doing the raping.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

If you read it again, you'll see that isn't what he said.Originally posted by kandr View PostDo they teach famous peoples stance on religion in GCSE's now?

I don't find Kandr's posts offensive. I find them weak in terms of logic & shock value. But not offensive.Originally posted by Moscow Mule View PostIf you read it again, you'll see that isn't what he said.

The reason why religion is and should be ridiculed at every chance is because it is nonsense and has no evidence to back it up. It's the result of our ancestors trying to understand the world before we know what we know now. Most of it has been debunked but those profiting from it still keep peddling it to the weak minded. I'm sure it will be relegated to the likes of Witchcraft and Astrology soon enough.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostHedging his bets.
Watched the religious discussions with interest today. Some really offensive comments earlier and serious stereotyping that was deemed to be 'acceptable' from moderation.
What is interesting within the UK, and a UK website that an attack on someones religion/belief/stereotype is acceptable, whereas an attack on race or sexism is unacceptable. In the US, free speech extends itself to an attack on race & sex, but is unacceptable when based around religion.
If I was to attack someones colour or sexual procalivity on CUK I'll be bounced off in seconds, but not religion. This is because within the UK especially the country has lost it's moral compass & guidance. Catholicism & the Church of England are seen as a weak part of society, it's followers compared with David Icke. It's an easy target. The same posters on CUK(and moderators as well) would tulip their pants if someone posted the Danish cartoon's of Mohammed, or started to use the 4Chan style '******' insults it's forum is famous for.
Religion in the UK is an easy target for those who cannot hold an argument IMO.
I feel sorry for those who life there life in a delusion or worse have been killed in the name of it.Comment

And to what doctrine & rules to base your life Kandr? The ridicule of religion is to to ridicule your own worthless beliefs? I am interested in what you hold dear and how you gauge what is 'right' and what is 'wrong'?Originally posted by kandr View PostThe reason why religion is and should be ridiculed at every chance is because it is nonsense and has no evidence to back it up. I was thinking more of Priests, but I am sure you will offer another illogical, irrelevant reason to defend them.Originally posted by d000hg View PostWhen you ask your mummy for things, why does she sometimes give you them and other times not? I find the implication of correlation between faith and rapists a little offensive.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostI don't find Kandr's posts offensive. I find them weak in terms of logic & shock value. But not offensive.
Not enough to call him a ******* idiot cockdocker, but offensive nonetheless."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

While I agree with you, I'm a bit surprised those are your views. Seems unlike you not to want us to be allowed to say whatever we like about anything and anyone.Originally posted by MarillionFan View Post
