I am beginning to feel uneasy about England's inability to knock over the last two wickets yesterday and the runs that got put on then.

I'm trying to construct a scenario where Australia could still win this test match and therefore draw the series. It's damned difficult.
        1. Knock us over for next to nothing on the fourth morning.
        2. Score 400 or so and set England 200 to win in two and a bit sessions.
        3. Demon spinner Michael Beer takes a six-fer on a wearing pitch and we're bowled out.

Where's the flaw in that plan?

It's a great plan. The unlikely scenarios are highlighted .

Now I'm struggling really hard to imagine a scenario where Australia can pull a victory out of the fire. How about this:
                      1. Cook, Strauss and Bell are our only fit bowlers after all the others injure their shoulders in the breakfast queue.
                      2. The last three Aussie wickets put on 300 at 100 runs an hour.
                      3. England are set 150 and are rolled over in two and a half hours.

                      I admit it's a long shot.
