Do you still have the photocard which has the same unique customer ID printed on each monthly ticket?
I'd like to think they can cancel the one you lost and print off a new one at no cost... OR maybe you were mistaken and the ticket gate just 'swallowed' it?
South West charge a tenner for a replacment but only allow two replacements in any 12 month period.

If you lost it then its an admin charge, hopefully you haven't lost the photocard if it had stopped working then they're obliged to give you a new one free of charge.
