I like Jags because they are quiet, roomy on the inside, and have some poke to get one out of scrapes should the need arise.
But I freely admit mine has a book value of £3K, which is peanuts. So it's not as if I'm trying to flaunt wealth or something.Work in the public sector? Read the IR35 FAQ hereComment

Anyone who has the personality flaw that would allow them to think that a particular brand gives them kudos, usually has the personality flaw that would allow them to stitch you up. I have seen it happen to other people.Coffee's for closersComment

Old Jag XK8's with PN's are the pinnacle of c**tness if you ask me.
My favourite personalised plate was on a Jag, B16 CAT.
In New Zealand you can have anything you like as a personalised plate as long as it's up to 6 letters or numbers long. Somehow "BOLL1X" passed the swear filter at the LMVD and was last seen driving around Wellington.Comment

They are called vanity plates in the US which is what they are.
I know a bloke who has one. He has a brand new Mazda 6 so he isn't trying to make it look newer. He is a nice bloke but a terrible dangerous aggresive driver who has been banned for speeding in the past.
I would never stoop so low as to spend cash on one.Comment
