    I do though.
Personally I no longer think a BMW on its own is necessarily a bad thing, add a personalised number plate and the sum of wankiness is much greater than the parts.

Old Jag XK8's with PN's are the pinnacle of c**tness if you ask me.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I think it was on here that someone posted a link to of the week Personalised plate spotters

      Which was amusing
I know somebody who owns A4. It's on some 1898 vintage car.

Thinking back... Oh how true! Usually very self important types.

I do however like business plates done in taste, for example the plate on a very nicely appointed Transit van belonging to Chanel I once spotted - what else but "NO 5"?

That's simply good marketing, and I remember it more than 2 decades later.

Indeed; I think it was on Top Gear where they pointed out that the cocks who used to own BMWs have all bought Audis; Judging by the behaviour of Audi drivers on the Dutch motorways, they're right. BMW drivers don't seem to cause as many problems nowadays. Audi drivers all want to be in front, all want to show off their special quattro handling and sports suspension by going around blind bends at stupid speeds, often having to correct at the last moment because they've ended up on the wrong side of the road.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

I was told the first time I was going to drive in Europe to watch out for the Dutch drivers.

Same over here. I'm also noticing more incredibly aggressive Vectra drivers. Salesmen, I assume.

                      Was that directed at me?
