Anyone impacted by the French strikes?

Current client is going in to crisis mode.

Certain products only certified to come from their place in France.

Liability running into $Ms per day.

One of the steering group calls I sit on is empty as the big hitters are all pressing the panic button.

    Ouch.

Sounds like a good reason never to outsource to France.

Not quite in the same league but our flights to and from holiday were both delayed because French ATC are involved in the strike action.

Indeed, India has got much more flexible labour laws, you won't hear much about strikes there, maybe apart from hunger ones...

AFAIK All the French oil refineries are down therfore no oil & no fuel.

Automanufactures are about to have lines stopped.

How long before flights are grounded or ships are stopped?

          This is goona be expensive.

Both their government and public have 10X more balls than ours.

Very true but this is about to go international.

One day, if the Maoists ever take over for example, they'll be saying the same about India.
