What a load of bollocks. The explosion was so bad it blew him in to the hallway and opened the loft door? From an aerosol?? It doesn't even say what type of it was. I doubt you could get that effect even if he emptied and entire can of butane or something like that in the room.

My friend injured herself quite badly, doing a similar thing.
Her car door locks were frozen one morning, so she sprayed some de-icer or something on them - when they still wouldn't work, she got her lighter out.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.
