Ah, I'm cooking on gas now, on isohunt.Originally posted by alreadypacked View PostKA = KickAss
I also use "isohunt".
I usually allow a couple of hours to download something, if it's not 100% I delete it and try somewhere else.
I look for TV shows that are currently on in the USA like Entourage, they download in about 10 mins. as there are so many seeds. If there are not more than 10 seeds I would not bother it may never download 100%.
For movies you should wait for about 1-2 months after release to get a good copy.
I recently got some links for file share sites, I will have a look see if they are any better than the torrent sites.

TNT canned it because the people watching it didn't watch any other TNT shows. And people who did watch the other TNT shows didn't watch B5 and its spinoffs. Then, alledgely, they set a high price so that other networks couldn't buy it off them, in case it was successful.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

Until it gets to about 92% and no one on the seed list actually has the completed file so it will stop and never move foreverOriginally posted by alreadypacked View PostStarted to download B5 last night, looks like it will take 3 days

seeders by definition have the complete file to shareOriginally posted by northernladuk View PostUntil it gets to about 92% and no one on the seed list actually has the completed file so it will stop and never move forever
Where there are a lot more leechers than seeders you may not be connected directly to a seeder. Its sometimes worthwhile going through the peer list and kicking off a few connections to allow your torrent client to connect to someone with a better connection or more complete file.
Also the seeders (if there are only a very small number) might have very low upload limits which will also slow down the last part of the download.Coffee's for closersComment

I thought that a seed had the whole file by definition?Originally posted by northernladuk View PostUntil it gets to about 92% and no one on the seed list actually has the completed file
Anyway, I've successfully downloaded huge files over many days with few seeds. You may find some seeds only come on-line in the evenings / at weekends, so it's often worth sticking with it.

ooh I LOVED Bab 5.
It is several million times better than any of the modern Star Trek spin off's
And it had Billy Mumy (Lost in Space) and Walter Konig in It.I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Well I too bought the box set, 2 weeks ago now. It's out of the cellophane but I haven't made a start. All the positive comments in this thread about B5 have encouraged me to give it a go sooner rather than later.Originally posted by Pogle View Postooh I LOVED Bab 5.

(I've only ever seen a few clips, never a whole episode!).Comment
