As Halo pointed out the acting is a bit dodgy to start with.
When I first saw series 1 I kind of gave up on it, went back to it a while later and started to see the attraction. I suppose we were conditioned by the ST model of all the issues being wrapped up in one episode. Stick with it though for the best 'baddies' in the universe.
(Iinterestingly, ST changed to include story arcs following B5)

Watching B5 from the very start and keep to the order is recomended. There are so many references to the back story in later episodes that some thing don't make sense without the knowledge.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I guess I will have to start watching some of the 200 items, so I can delete them.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any mention of the Post-Production Coordinator and, later, Associate Producer on much of the B5 canon, the one and only Susan Norkin - formerly known on CUK as Susan Iamapratin

I've seen big swathes of Voyager and DS9 on TV, Voyager was quite good. I think DS9 starts slow, but the last (few?) series are all about the war and have an ongoing story.

I actually quite liked Enterprise as well although I don't really consider it Star Trek, since it's much grittier and contrasts how much humanity supposedly changes by the 24th century

I have downloaded "Moon" and something else successfully recently, but when I tried Avatar, most of the downloads were porn (Betty shakes her boobs or something, which was absolute filth). Eventually I found an Avatar download that wasn't porn, but it's been stuck on 55% downloaded for some days now. Ditto for District 9 (stuck on 90%) and Stargate Universe (0%).
Well if you're going to try and pirate films over the interweb you open yourself up to pretty much everything bad floating about.
I can't see why you'd wait 3 days and waste time setting it all up for might be a poor-quality version anyway, when you could rent it via direct download for about £3 or even rent a DVD through one of the many companies around. I value my time and convenience far higher than that. In fact I should go do some work - the time taken to type this I could have earned enough to rent a DVD myself!

Whatever order you watch them, AtW, make sure that Sleeping in Light is the very, very last one you see. Go back to it after you've seen crusade, the movies, the lost tales, all of it.

The very last 5 mins will make anyone cry.
