So the chances of animal cruelty becoming the social norm are so unlikely it's not worth putting a number on, let alone losing sleep over.

The fact that these clowns were prosecuted & convicted says more about how our culture is resistant to animal cruelty than anything.

As I said before, I suggest you build that bridge and stop losing sleep. Maybe try listening to Radio 4 as you go to sleep - helps me every time.
