I must admit, much as I loved DT, I'm pleased that the angst-ridden, hand-wringing, looking-mortality-in-the face phase has passed..."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

Though we have to understand that the new Doctor hasn't wholly transformed so will still be a bit "Tennentian". We'll probably see a different side in the next episode.Originally posted by cailin maith View PostMe too - loved that line!!
Me too a bit - but I reckon I only think that because I LOVED DT

Anyone think the new guy looks a bit like Frankenstein's monster? Or could at least play the part with minimal facial make-up?Comment

howeverOriginally posted by Zippy View PostNot convinced. I thought Matt Smith was impersonating David Tennant.
Precisely my understanding. If he's still like Tennant in episode 3, then we'll just have to shoot moffet.Originally posted by norrahe View PostT...we have to understand that the new Doctor hasn't wholly transformed so will still be a bit "Tennentian". Rubbish, he pandered very nicely to the 40+ male audience. Did you see her legs?Originally posted by BolshieBastard View PostI thought it was a huge disappointment TBH.
Looks like its pandering to the 16 to 23 year old target audience.

If he was playing Tennant then he did a pretty decent job, but also clearly had his own take on it. Look forward to seeing it develop, though I hope this series' in-the-background-weird-coincidences-and-subtle-references storyline isn't totally over the top, the 'silence is falling thingie'.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
