For me the North is anything north of London Wall linkyOriginally posted by ToolpusherActually, as far south as Nottingham!!
I understand that it is just barbarians beyond that point.
I will admit that I have in the past been known to risk the journey north to Lords cricket ground and survived that OK so it can't be all bad up there.Last edited by Gonzo; 16 January 2010, 01:33.Comment

Our curry house seems to do hot curries. I like quite hot food, but not silly. Their Madras is about as hot as I can handle (it varies from week to week), so I imagine their Vindaloo is pretty hot.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

I honestly find it difficult to understand how you can eat curry for breakfast. It surprises me because i'd say 99% of indians would never eat a curry first thing in the morning. The closest would probably be fried spicy meatballs. And if they smell of curry at work thats probably because they walked through the kitchen before getting out of the house. Perhaps that explains the common misconception.Originally posted by RichardCranium View PostI am now gagging for a Chicken Madras for brekkie.

I don't like hot for hot sake - but it'll clear a cold.
My preference is for something Thai - Green, Red or Jungle with jasmine rice.
Trouble is...
I'm trying to cut down - lost 10 pounds since Xmas - only another 200 or 300 pounds to go... or there abouts!

Thats right, this is a meal for those who regard quantity as the main indicator of value in their food. Read on for the full gory, and it is very gory, details."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

A creamy curry is really quite nice, the sauce anyway... it's often really quite sweet. I wouldn't eat a prawn curry for breakfast though, but chicken passanda would be quite ok.Originally posted by EC4N View PostI honestly find it difficult to understand how you can eat curry for breakfast.
Also, left over peshwari nan is a great mid-morning snack.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
