    I've had the Jalfrezi from Khans in Bayswater. It was an inedible mess of chopped, minced and sliced chilli. Not fun at all.

    I'm much more of a medium heat with plenty of interleaved flavours fan now.

    Best curry I ever had was in a roadside cafe in Fiji. Second best the Gandhara in Moscow, which is actually of Pakistani origin.

        How about trying a real curry as opposed to the fake english style nonsense your order from people who are pandering to English tastes.

            When the gf was living in Hamburg, and I was hopping over a lot, she organised a trip to a 'Typical German Food Place' somewhere along Wandsbeker Chausse or summert, we got out of the U-Bahn and walked for ages, scouring the walls for the wierd German way of assigning numbers to houses/shops, and we found it. It was a Turkish Kebab Shop. And it was closed. Epic Fail.

            We ended up in an Italian pizzeria run by Germans which was lovely!
