    Just nipped up to the newsagents; when I came out, the first few bits of sleet were descending. Forecast here is for heavy snow in an hour or so

    Mind you, "heavy snow" around here usually means about a quarter of an inch that melts as soon as anybody looks at it.

        Just picked Mrs PL up from work,

        Snow's melted but it's farqqing freezing.

        Travel news didn't make pleasant listening for valleys folk/lizards.

          How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
