Mrs D just phoned from work, she said that it isn't really settling, down in Newport.

My car is now just a white mound on the drive

Just had a quick peak out the front window and the car is covered in the stuff.

I may have to nip out the patio door to get to the front door and clear it of snow, it's built up a quarter way up the front door. If I open it now I'm going to get a snowbank on the hall carpet

Cleared the snow from the front door

Very wet snow to be drifting like that

Maybe I shouldn't have worn my slippers

ditto - I'm just outside London, the garden still has snowman remains and blobs of compressed snow from when the dog / kids were running over it, plus the front garden still has the the mounds of snow from when I cleared the drive.

Its been raining all day but at around 5 degrees it won't turn to snow I hope, I can't face another week trapped in the house - even though I am on the bench.

                      One thing leads to another.

Global warming, snow, next we'll have triffids all over the lawn.
