    The impact of a pandemic is not simply about the number of deaths, though. This pandemic, like previous ones, is killing mainly young people, not the very elderly as flu normally does

      I refer to the government statistics, less deaths than normal, that is after Australia's "pandemic", and in any case this was reported on CNN. But also New York City are also reporting less deaths than with seasonal flu.

      But then again we don't want hard facts to get in the way of a scientist's conjecture.

      From what I understand the scientists know it's mild but are worried that it might get nasty.
