On the contrary, the attendee demographic at this year's Games Day/Golden Daemon awards would indicate otherwise, although 40K does seem to attract a relatively younger audience that its Fantasy counterpart.Originally posted by minestrone View PostWarhammer was/is always a kiddies thing for kiddies. Especially some of the Apocalypse models.Originally posted by Board Game Geek View PostIf you've seen the price of mini's lately, they are far out of the range of most kid's pocket money. The odd xmas and birthday pressie maybe.
Their stand at Games Day was very, very busy for the duration, and my eldest lad is rather taken with some of their conversion kits at the moment.Originally posted by Board Game Geek View Post

Go indoor rock-climbing - a really rewarding activity, get to meet some interesting people, get the fantastic sense of achievement upon completing your first lead-climb, and graduate to outdoor climbing in the summer.
It's also a natural way of building up your all-round strength & stamina, and supplements other exercise nicely.Comment
