but you might not be going to work, and even if you are it might not be for the full day. You might be going shopping for a Moody blues CD, or a handkerchief.

I can't remember the last time I saw anyone use a proper cloth hanky. Talk about unhygienic, carrying a mucus-soaked cloth around in your pocket. Every time you touch it your hands become contaminated, also your pocket and anything else inside it.

Use a tissue and then throw it on the floor

I catch my snot on my computer screen. The missus cleans it off every six months or so.

Not a bit - The faster this virus spreads during the summer, the more people who catch it are likely to survive and exhaust the reservoir of susceptible human hosts by the time the colder weather arrives.

So it's people like you who will be irresponsible by moping around indoors when they could be out and about infecting others.

Theres actually a question about this on the NHS Q&A. they reckon that its possible to catch it more than once and that flu parties are therefore a bad idea.

After this I'm more worried about catching mumps. Never had it. Actually, don't think I've ever had flu either.

the chances of me getting upset are close to zero.
You confusing two facts, catching a virus and displaying symptoms is a worry, especially when you post that a person can pass on the virus for seven days after catching it.

This is obvious mis-information - please stop it
