The umpire did the right thing by calling it straight out - because that's what it probably was.
However, I can understand Ricky Ponting being a bit miffed because they appear to be a bit inconsistent when yesterday they referred an Aussie catch to the 3rd umpire, who ruled it Not Out because he "couldn't be 100% sure"...Comment
