215 all out; England do not enforce follow on. Hmmm, I think it might have been a big psychological blow to Australia if England had done that. On the other hand, perhaps Strauss thinks it's good to get in a and bat, hit out for a day or so and let the bowlers have a rest and come back fresh tomorrow. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? England don't deserver to win if they play like this“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain”Comment

Have been at the game today. The run rate and lack of ambition has not gone done well with the england fans.
Why do we lack the self belief to go on and score proper runs ?Comment

when you are in the ascendancy and have the opposition on the ropes, taking your foot of the throttle because you have loads of time is a losing mentality
the aussies would not have played like this. They're no 1 in the world. we're notComment

Well I would not class myself as an expert on Cricket, but I'd say England are playing it all pretty cannily at the moment.Originally posted by Evil Hangover View Postwhen you are in the ascendancy and have the opposition on the ropes, taking your foot of the throttle because you have loads of time is a losing mentality
