Aye, Collingwood and Prior seem to be pretty solid at the moment. Prior's almost putting on runs at a 20/20 rate.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket? -
Well played Prior. 50 off 37 balls. Not too shabby.
Lead now up to 465. Interesting times ahead.“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain”Comment

Unlucky that for Prior - that was a good throw though. 61 off 41 balls.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment

Reckon they'll let Freddie get his 50 if he can, then declare and try to get an early wicket or two off the aussies before close tonight.“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain”Comment

Is a lead off ~550 enough?Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostReckon they'll let Freddie get his 50 if he can, then declare and try to get an early wicket or two off the aussies before close tonight.Comment

It should be as I don't believe anyone has ever reached that in a Test Match in a final innings. However, there may be some rain delays tomorrow so who knows? Oops, there goes Colly.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostIs a lead off ~550 enough?
Seems like there will be no declaration as the whining Aussies will claim for bad light if they are put in to bat this evening. Oh well, let's clatter a few more and build that lead up even more. Or not.........seems like that is it for the day as some rain is falling.Last edited by shaunbhoy; 18 July 2009, 17:30.“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. What a splendid days play.
Not sure about the follow on decision - there's six sessions left, probably lose 1.5 to rain delay so a lead of 550 is pretty insurmountable. Basically, it's forcing the Aussies to bat for a minimum of 150 overs to save the game. They should keep the ashes if they can do that..."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment
