It hasn't occurred to you that we may, you know, actually talk about stuff involving our kids?

Yes most nurseries are free for 3 and 4 year olds - upto a set no. of hours per week depending on the local education authority. So if you want to leave the kids in nursery to cover a 9 to 5 job 5 days a week you still have to pay something.

Why? Contracting for me is the career I want. I don't mind only working 6/9 months of the year and I like the constant change. Doesn't mean I'm only doing it until I can't put up with it any longer.

I'd say it has more to do with the parents. I never went to Nursery school. I was looked after by my dad at work. Never did me any harm.

Wow. What really ****s me off is people, mostly couples/partners who think that just becuase you don't go to baby gym or have attended a local toddlers meeting that you know **** all about kids.

I've never had kids and don't want any - doesn't mean that I don't have a valid opinion. Also doesn't mean I probably wouldn't make a better parent than a lot of people out there with kids.

Again...you winged and bitched like a little girl about SA judging people and speaking about stuff she knows nothing about then you go an do the same.

What's the difference between SA not like a £1000 a month nursery which she has never paid for and you not liking people without kids arguing about kids. Oh right a world of difference - not really when you think about it.

Just because a problem is about children doesn't suddenly make half the population with kids more qualified to answer.

Its like those women that stick the front two wheels of the push chair in the road at a ped crossing. Doesn't mean I'm going to stop for you - a pushchair does not give right of way.

Or the NHS adverts that all the reasons for giving up smoking are "to see my child to <x> right of passage". Children are not the pinnacle of your lives. I personally think that people with kids have semi given up and are quite happy for kids to come along and be an excuse - the number of people I know that say "oh, I would but I've got the kids". Poppy cock! You can do stuff even when you do have kids.

Well they came in to pick up my timesheets today for May and inquired if I would like to work an extra day a week (currently only do 3) which was nice although I'm waiting for another project to come through from the USA which let me work 7 days a week.
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

I already said the same thing. You're agreeing with me without realising it. Nursery isn't detrimental, neither is not going to nursery. It's a choice people make.

Thing is, most people don't have a clue about kids until they have their own. Go ask virtually any parent and they'll agree with this statement - you've no idea until you're really knee deep in it.

                      Wrong.

I think people with or without kids should make their own choices and refrain from criticising other peoples choices when it comes to their children.

Never said it didn't, btu I'd say somenoe who has kids and who's gone through this probably knows a wee bit more than someone who hasn't. Reference my previous point, it's a choice, and leave it at that.
