Pay your own or don't watch. Simple. By the way, we spell it Licence here. Feel free to bog off to America if you prefer crap tv and spellings. -

we shouldn't let the state scare us law-abiding citizens into paying for things like bbc"See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

i love those "ads" whereby they claim to know every address that posseses a tv licence and then when my other half bought a new tv, they kept sending letters telling me there was no licence at our address.
hellooooo, i've had one for the last two years.......
seems whoever designed their database it looks at the name and not the address!
sheesh! the only good thing about the bbc is the news.

I love the BBC
Yes I do.
When you consider what you get for your money, it is fantastic value: TV channels, radio, local radio etc etc.
The last time I heard the figures, the BBC was putting out about 40 hours of broadcast per hour of each day. I am sure this must have increased by 50% by now.
I would gladly pay double or treble what I pay for a TV licence if it meant I did not have to sit through another 8 minute ad break on Sky.Comment

including 39 hours of "How to solve a problem like Eurovision in the Attic on Ice".Originally posted by Ken Dodd View PostYes I do.
