You suggest that a reasonable defence for having the list and vetting potential tenants is because you might be watching a TV program with them one day, have an argument, and he might say something which offends you ?

In that case, you'd better write a proper questionnaire for your poor tenants asking them their sexual preferences, religion, which charities they donate to and whether they like or loathe Marmite, and who is their favourite actor and musical band, because BNP membership is obviously just the tip of the iceberg, and there are some really dangerous people out there who like all sorts of other things.

Any bias in their work should be caught using on-the-job methods, not some list majority of people in which have nothing to do.

It's like how would you like if someone leaked top 10% earned in the UK list with all their addresses and salaries? It's not illegal to earn lots of money, yet people might not want this to be published for whatever reason, I am sure some of those earners are criminals, does not mean for the sake of them lots of others should be involved.

This one is likely to go to court especially if someone on the list gets hurt - member of BNP or not.

ATW- your a nice guy but your arguments are always weak. Try to read Broadsheets/listen to Today programme/5 live (sometime), and read a lot of classic novels and philosphy.

You seem to confuse some well known public figures (and in this case they don't publish addresses where they live, usually) - if you were on the list (assuming you earn more than say £50k), would you like whole country everyone know how much you earn?

I did not say tenants, I said I move around a lot and get flat shares. When your the lease holder than lot easier to state your opinions as opposed to when youve paid rent to a possible nutter in advance with deposit.

nope. Immigration did get silly with the Polish EU entry, but was only because Germany, France etc didnt play fair and blocked them- and the UK was naive to under estimate.

If willing to work hard and pay tax then more than welcome in my mind.
