It is my opinion that the mods are taking an action they 'think' is correct just because its less hassle thinking this one small thread on a reltively small forum will make any difference in the Internet ocean.
NOTE: I did not post the actual list, just the story on BBC etc and the link to one of the many blogs which has published it.
One of the largest websites in UK and the world which modded 24/7 is fine with it (Pistonheads.com and more)If you find this post offensive, please insert "Chan" before and "tho" after, then it should be OK.

I'm shocked BGG feels comfortable contacting Nick Griffin. I know of some BNP people who go down a pub I frequent. They spend most of their time huddled in corners planning the next group beating of immigrants, very sad.The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

If GBH , or YHB or whatever his name is, is so blase about this stuff getting out, I think the mods should publish all his details on here.
I mean, I wouldn't want to inadvertantly move into a flat with him.

I think the really telling part of this are the comments along the lines of "now all my friends and neighbours will know"
Sounds like people are ashamed or embarrassed by their affiliation to the BNP (and in my not so humble opinion they bloody should be).
I couldn't give two monkeys if people knew who I supported or even how I voted.
However I'll agree that the publication of the list, regardless of who's on it is a massive invasion of privacy and I believe it will fall under the DPA. Interesting to see some banned professions however, and the implication that the party knows it has members who aren't allowed to be members....B00med!Comment

Can't say I'm hugely fussed, but then again, regardless of free speech, I've never been a fan of the BNP.
I see the BNP spokesman has a sweet way with words when referring to those that leaked the list:
"it will turn out to be one of the most foolish things they have done in their life", and that "I wouldn't be sleeping very well tonight".
"No, we are not in favour of the Human Rights Act, it is a European piece of legislation, but as it is there we will happily use it if we can"
Like many I guess, I want to check up on my neighbours.Rule #76: No excuses. Play like a champion.Comment
