    Anyone fancy working in academia?

I wouldn't mind. Money ain't good but that's not an issue for me. On the plus side you get to do interesting work and get an influx of hot totty every year.
    Hard Brexit now!

        Been there, done it.
Just need to keep myself busy in semi-retirement to avoid Alzheimers.
The business world doesn't do it for me anymore.

Assuming you are being serious, would you lecture? In what field?

Doesn't matter - no mortgage, missus working in high paid job she loves - just need beer and book money to be honest.

I agree... something for the future assuming I am financially comfortable enough to take the pay hit.

The business world is a dark, evil, hellish place and I'd sooner be shot of it.

Sounds like that permie review is not going to do well this year?

You won't make it in academia as you lack important qualities (like brain) required for success there.

Would need a PhD first I think.
