Ok, so you think if you are wealthy then it somehow makes you good person? It's not like you earned that money anyway - you just successfully run a few speculative real estate operations.

Any other ideas for the good life, anyone?
Maybe you should try to do a day of honest work in your life?

I quite enjoy maths - I'm sad enough to read maths books in my spare time

20 years ago they used COBOL and Fortran

You're such a simpleton, aren't you? "Good person", indeed.

I could see you in some dead-end East End school teaching trig to the local ASBO champions.

              Or Prolog, Lisp and C.
What's wrong with COBOL and Fortran anyway - good honest languages.

Sure I will carry on, it is going pretty damn well so far. Thing is - even if I fail I will have done something, where as you, even when you succeed in making some money, will be a failure - I can just imagine guru telling his children story of his life: "... and then son I sold all my buy-to-let houses just before the downturn..."

That would be a challenge, indeed.

At least I can have children to tell a story to.
I don't think you should be mentioning the word failure in your position, don't you think?
