It's been snowing all morning. It's still snowing. I'm snowed in. I'm losing money. When will it stop?
I'm off to inspect a mate's igloo this afternoon.Comment

Terrible slush in London. Not good for buses when a few hills are thrown in......I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt, not that fancy store-bought dirt... I can't compete with that stuff.Comment

My work colleague said it wasn't too bad down there this morning. Yesterday nearly all the snow had gone.Originally posted by Rookie View PostTerrible slush in London. Not good for buses when a few hills are thrown in......Comment

True. But snowed really heavily for about an hour or so this morning. Caught a few motorists by suprise and stranded a bus half up a hill.Originally posted by Doggy Styles View PostMy work colleague said it wasn't too bad down there this morning. Yesterday nearly all the snow had gone.
Then no buses for about an hour. All this caused by slush! Bloody slush.I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt, not that fancy store-bought dirt... I can't compete with that stuff.Comment

Brilliant sight this morning, a big corn-coloured moon hung just above the M56 in front, and the morning was just breaking in my rear view mirror.

<couldn't resist>Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
