      Yes you're a big-mouthed coward.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

I think Bogey that Churchills comment was not personalised at your son. I believe he was alluring to a conceptual pattern of behaviour that goes to make up a stereotypical football (or any other) supporter.

Oh dear, keep up Dodgy - it wasn't MY son!

              Oh FFS!

Doesn't anyone here have some balls and decency?

Is it fair to shyt on and generally abuse family members of posters?

CUK seems to be somewhat symptomatic of society at large, it seems.

OK calm down. This is what I believe happened:

Churchill, in his inarticulate way, suggested that for a boy of 7 to shed tears because of a football match was inappropriate and that in the long run that sort of misguided passion can lead to fanaticism (which is of course where the short-form "fan" comes from). And from there to the sort of scummy behaviour we saw in Manchester.

There were quite a few posters, including myself who agreed with the sentiment of inappropriate passion, if not with the way it was put.
                  Hard Brexit now!

I hope you're not suggesting that Bluebird's offspring might become a Manc!!!

                    Good grief.
