Good referral back to the original requirements. Looks like you can get one around 20k, and a really nice one for around 26k.

Lovely car but massive, not sure the wife will be able to handle one of those. oo-er. Will have to look into this one.

Definately a 993 model 911 ..... you wont get one at that price with a low mileage though. You'd probably find a good condition, 100k example with history.
Having said that, whatever mileage you put on it yourself, you will get most if not all of your cash back when you sell it on in 2 year or so.

Bought mine at 74k 4 years ago, i've doubled the mileage and it still stands me for what I paid for it. (it was a cat D repairable).

^^ scrub 911virgin.com, they have a couple but they're not in that price range.

Actually I'd love an Audi Q7 but that's more like £40k...

I couldn't drive one of those Chryslers. A friend's got one and the first thing I noticed is, when the boot's open, it comes up "TRUNK AJAR" on the dash. That sort of thing would just wind me up.

Yes and each time you pull up or stop at the lights, some Yank tourist hops in the back

                  Result.

You charge them £250 for a trip from Waterloo to Parliament Square.

                  Plan B sorted.

                    Honda CRV or Accord
I have a CRV because it has better legroom in the back
                    plus it goes offroad

or get a smokey old series (pre 1973) landrover and stick 2 fingers up at the congestion charge - historic vehicles are exempt of car tax and except of congestion charge
