Like comparing someone you don't like to a disabled person? No, I wouldn't stoop that low
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

don't think I am being PC at all, I just happen to think that the days of seeing homosexuality as a perversion (esp in the West) are long gone. I think there are many other forms of perversion to worry about - one handed typing for example.
      You are dead wrong.

Many people still see it as a peversion, wether they are right or not is a different issue.

FFS you completely missed the point I spelled out for you twice, and you accuse SA of lacking intellect.

Are you saying I jumped to a conclusion about your intention that was untrue?

No, I wasn't saying that at all, I'm saying you didn't and still don't understand what the point of the article was and you keep bringing it up. It's like you are the lovechild of the dog and sadguru.

Most days 1/2 to 1 bottle of wine - sometimes more. I can't readily drink large quantities of beer. Spirits I have to be careful of. I can quite happily get through half a bottle or more of whisky, vodka, pastis, gin (with tonic, ice and lemon), various schnapps etc. in a night. For that reason I only buy spirits on special occasions. I drink because I enjoy it. Funnily enough, when under pressure, I tend to stop drinking entirely. I do find I drink more if I get bored. I'm quite happy to "dry" when necessary, or when being "nominated driver".

If that makes me an alcoholic in your book, then so be it. You be happy in your self-righteousness

You can, it's just not recommended. I do, it gives you a headrush and makes you sweat.

I don't think it matters what the definition of an "alcoholic" is, it varies and who cares.
However I think there's a certain level of drinking that's dangerous.
That varies from person to person.
