Come on - who are you? Own up!Originally posted by Keldin View PostThat would be why I said "Make friends with your neighbours". You might then discover that nurses usually work 12 hours shifts or longer which means they have a few days off in a row during the week. My neighbours starts her night shift tomorrow night so she's been off since Monday. Today is not a good day for her to sign for a parcel though because she's going in to Uni for her Advanced Nurse Practitioner course.
In case you've missed it - try being nice to people. You'll get a lot more accomplished and not just parcel delivery.

PS It's Keldin not Kelvin.
You have to be one of the regulars!!
No way have you been on this site for 2 years, only made 70 odd posts, and "just" decide to participate in a thread about DHL.
You've been sent by your alter ego to wind me up, and quite honestly, you have done a rather good job of it.
You can come out now Bagpuss - I thought you were being quiet today

Why dont you just get it delivered to your work on a Saturday? That way you get your package and you get to charge for an extra day.Comment

I normally get the local minicab firm to pickup parcels from the depot,
will cost a few quid extra, but cheaper than driving down myself during
work hours.

I'm going to help the hard of thinking on this one..
Lesson 1/ Deliveries
You arrange it to be delivered to somewhere you are likely to be.
Carrier tries to deliver parcel to said destination
a/you are in = success
b/you are out= fail
b=You pick it up from the depot or they redeliver it, depending on their policy or your preference
Next lesson Wiping your own bumThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

I didn't realise there was a minimum posting level set for this thread but at first I was just trying to help you with some suggestions. I can see now you don't actually want help and the help you need is not really courier related.
Enjoy your parcel
