Despite a litany of pointless tripe that you have spouted over the years, this latest nonsense pushes even your boundaries.
You ARE AtW and I claim my £5!
I have withdrawn my custom from a number of pubs for a number of reasons. One of which was the BO of the bar staff.
I have a choice and I am willing to exercise it.
If every pub were full of stinky staff then I would open my own and reserve the right to eject them. Simple as.

BTW a bloke in Scotland got barred from his local for farting. It is now smoke free and everyone can now smell what he has been doing for years so just watch out Shaun. Your local will soon be able to smell your bulltulip.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Of course I have but that is hardly a sensible comparison. The facts are that smokers frequent every bar, so it is hardly fair to suggest that because of that the non-smoking majority just give up going to pubs is it?

Fag breaks cost me more in lost man hours due to sneaky fag breaks than the fags cost them.
That's what everyone assumes, but it ain't necessarily so - For clerks or phone jockeys, maybe. But anyone doing creative work like design and coding needs regular breaks and does a better job as a result.

Show me some busywork coder who beavers away hour after hour without a break and I'll show you the overelaborate overengineered system they produce. Sometimes you can work too hard at a problem, when relaxing for a few minutes evey now and then would give them a chance to see a simpler solution.

This is exactly why fricking laptops were invented.
If they want to go for a fag break every ten minutes, take a laptop and carry on working.

Close all them coffee shops. Stop selling anything that's not fruit, veg or fish. And make it compulsary to exercise 2 hours every day.

Oh and lets not forget the cars on the roads gushing out pollution that we all have to breathe - they should definately go...cause it's all for the good of our health isn't it?

            ******* nambie pambie fist ******* ar*ewipes.

This clearly upsets you Sal, the fact is when others are drinking coffee, eating bad food etc I am not forced to join them. When I want to go to a pub I am forced to inhale their smoke. Simple. Smoke if you want to, and that is your right, your rights stop however, when you infringe on anyone else.

Agreed. I speak as an ex-smoker. Not a day goes by that I don't get the urge. But life without is clearly so much better.
              Hard Brexit now!

Councils have decided to extend the indoor smoking ban to playgrounds and parks. Some colleges and hospitals are also stopping smokers from lighting up outside as the national smoking ban comes into force this morning,
Smoking in front of children is now being likened to abuse.
Seems you won't be able to do it anywhere soon
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

on the gum again, fag free for 2 days. rather fed up with it but it did seem a good time to stop.

However as mentioned, if the non smoking public really did feel so strongly about smoking pubs then they would have changed years ago. Most pub non smoking areas used to be empty.

It does seem a little nanny state and the arrogance of it is a little much.

Smokers are now pariahs, what next too many sausage rolls and a fine?

                    Stoning for tax avoiders?

They don't want to ban smoking, they make far too much money in tax from smokers. All they are doing now is inventing new ways to tax the smoker even more while telling them that it is for thier own good.

As a smoker you now get to pay:
                      1. Tax on ciggies
                      2. Tax as a fine when you smoke them
                      3. Private medical costs when the NHS refuses to treat you because you are a smoker (brilliant bit of planning, not only do they take more tax from you, but they deny you access to the benefits of tax!! The mother of all stelth taxes!!)
                      4. Tax on cold and flu medicines as you are more likely to get these now you are stuck outside in the cold and rain
All salute our glorius leader and his amazing stelth taxes. Next we will have a load of stelth taxes and fines for people who drink coming in, can you guess how he's going to do it???
