I remember the sex ed film from school. This was in about 1972. Apparently you got a sort of cocktail umbrella stuffed in the end, it was then opened and removed. I didn't really see the problem since:-

All the infected people had green flies buzzing around them so you should know who to avoid,

It was a puiblic school so most of them may well have though the scrape was an amusing interlude.
