    De-boomed!

Today is the last day of my almost 6 year permanent contract!
Couldn't give it up, but quite excited about it finishing and getting some time off to chill over summer.
The 'state of the market' post is now closed though - how am I to ponder/bemoan any lack of results in applying for new roles?

I'm sure someone will start up a new one at some point.

    Good luck with gig hunting.

Just counted the number of permie jobs I've endured that lasted less than 6 years: oh, only 7? It seemed there should be more.

Ah. 8. And that's not counting the one that lasted a morning. So 9.
      When the fun stops, STOP.
