Do that with a B52

I didn't have the right camera on me at the time, so my photos don't do it justice, but I remember at the 2016 Farnborough Air Show an A380 doing a flight demo. After take off it went very nearly vertical and then did some superb tight turns. Would have loved to have been on board that! -
I'd put up the vid of the lune doing something stupid in a B52 but it's a snuff movie so I won't bother.
The entire crew died due to some grandstanding Septic nutjob who failed to remember that there's zero lift when the wings are vertical.

Just as well it wasn't carrying any nukes they'd accidentally forgotten to take off it. .Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 10 December 2024, 13:27.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

The Vulcan was an amazing aircraft. My Dad was a Vulcan captain and when we lived in Cyprus seeing them flying was an everyday occurrence which never got boring - also Canberra, Lightning, Hercules, Argosy, Whirlwind, Wessex etc - even the Red Arrows came and did their winter training there. What a great life for a young lad: sun, sea, Cold War aircraftComment
