        The cow in Staines was actually a 10 month old calf who was apparently still before the police started chasing it in their car. The video from The Guardian misses out the start.

        The cow in Wales was 9 years old.

        Regardless Surrey police should be used to various animals e.g. horses, deer, swans randomly ending up on their roads.

          Yeah it's horrendous. Yep the officer probably thought he was doing the right thing.

          But given how much most cows suffer during the normal course of their lives, not sure why we get so outraged by these things.

              Unfortunately, some police officers are sadistic and they join the force to enjoy doing those sort of acts.
