FWIW, this is how my wife, as a feminist, rates the parties in terms of being captured by Trans ideology:

    Greens
    Lib Dems
    SNP
    Labour
    (wide gulf)
    Conservatives
    (even wider gulf)
    Reform

She'd never vote for Reform, and nor could she bring herself to vote Tory, so she can't support any of them.

Not sure any woman in their right minds can vote for self selecting trans as a woman. By all means ones that have been assessed by a medical expert.

The Greens have two leaders who are like a "This Morning" couple. If the leaders are the same sex or gender then they have two or three deputy leaders who are different sexes or genders. Their co-leaders are never MPs as they only have one former MP. Their MP was Caroline Lucas for Brighton Pavilion. I have no idea who their co-leaders are.

The Lib Dims leader is Sir Ed Davey. He represents Kingston and Surbiton. He was leader before but lost his seat so some Scottish MP was leader, then he became leader again as she lost her seat but he hit his back. He currently likes falling in sewage.

There is a midway between the Tories, particularly their Women and Equalities minster who doesn't know what she is talking about, and the Greens.

Edited to say: Carla Denyer and Andrew Ramsley due to watching the 10.

Should transwomen be able to compete in women's sports?
Should transwomen be allowed to enter women's spaces (toilets, changing rooms, prisons)?

My wife and I don't trust Greens, LibDems, SNP or Labour to protect women's rights and safety.

Edited to say - don't railways use steel? How do we make '"Green" steel?
Apparently Green steel is made using electric furnaces rather than coal-fired. Never mind that the carbon from the coal influences the structure of the steel and makes it stronger... I suppose they could chuck a few bags of BBQ briquettes into the furnace to get the same effect?

Given that there are 1,100 police officers under investigation for sexual or domestic abuse offices, many of them still allowed to work, it doesn't seem like the current government can be trusted to protect women's safety either.

Kemi Badenoch is hot favourite in the betting to be the next Tory Leader. Labour must be rubbing their hands with glee.

The electric furnaces can't get the steel hot enough to create high grade steel so we are limited to making rehashed inferior steel.

Now if we had gone hydrogen instead we could still make premium steel and challenge lower cost countries with our skill.

Indeed. As touted by Tata for Port Talbot.

And there's hydrogen reduction too for raw steel.

                      It's all fantasy of course.

The Duport steel arc furnaces closed 44 years ago.

Arc furnaces are fed with scrap steel.

                      https://bellona.org/news/eu/2021-05-...roduce%20steel.

And once you've made the DRI you have to add carbon to make it into steel.
