Sea turtle pokemon? Can you catch them all?

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...t-purpose.html

Mysterious colorful boxes with letters attached to them wash up on beaches - and have an important secret purpose
    • The boxes have a tracking device to help track movements of the sea turtles
    • The public is asked to take photos, notes of its location and to contact a hotline
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

How is a floating yellow box supposed to replicate the movements of a sea turtle? Do they assume that the percentage of the turtle propelling itself around vs drifting in currents is negligble so a similar sized immobile floating box will be close enough in the bigger scheme of things?

He had a negative bluety on a quackhandle and was quadraspazzed on a lifeglug.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.
