How is a floating yellow box supposed to replicate the movements of a sea turtle? Do they assume that the percentage of the turtle propelling itself around vs drifting in currents is negligble so a similar sized immobile floating box will be close enough in the bigger scheme of things?

Imagine the grant application, I want to make some artificial turtles!
